What Series 1 includes
Series 1 is called Welcome to Japan. The official article describes the Festival Playlist welcoming players to Japan at launch and says players can use the playlist once they have earned their place at the Horizon Festival.
Summer is active from May 21 to May 28. Its two weekly reward cars are the 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z EDITION at 20 PTS and the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR at 40 PTS. Both also appear in the refreshed official car list as Seasonal cars.
The main Series rewards are the 2008 Mazda Furai at 60 PTS and the 2010 Nissan 370Z at 120 PTS. Each season also adds two reward cars at 20 PTS and 40 PTS.
The Trial is intentionally held until Series 2, so Series 1 should not pressure players to rush the final Wristband. Completing each Festival Playlist activity type in Series 1 grants the Cherry Blossom Badge.
What comes next
Horizon Decades is the official Series 2 theme. Forza.net says it will introduce a temporary Car Meet and 10 Series Reward Cars.
Use Series 1 as a launch information hub first. Detailed weekly strategies, recommended cars, and tuning notes should stay attached to verified activity objectives instead of generic meta guesses.
